- Watchdog: Instrumental in providing a varied list of ideas to be considered for the programme
e.g., the popular but squeaky Nike trainers which resulted in Nike admitting a manufacturing fault and promising
to replace faulty pairs.
- Watchdog Healthcheck: Successfully researched and developed caller’s story, linked them to other cases in archives and presented them to production team for them to confront the companies involved and take the investigation further. Rehearsed with lighting, sound crew and presenters Gaby Roslin and Dr Mark Porter in studio. Answered phones live on show.
- Value for Money: Key runner on LegoLand shoot with Vanessa Feltz.
The Bucks Free Press, 2000
- Successfully filled the shoes of a reporter when answering the News Desk phone, noting story down, conducting phone interviews, organising photo shoots and writing the finished article. Wrote numerous articles ranging from
court cases and inquests, to various features and competitions. Had voxpop and nibs published.
The Evening Standard, 1999
- Interviewed Zoe Ball when she opened a ‘Cats only’ surgery in Maida Vale.
- On the job training with specialist reporters. Researched and wrote show business articles on the nominations at the Mercury Music Awards, the London Premiere of Austin Powers II and a one to one interview with ‘Nash’ the
godson of Primakov, the former Russian Prime Minister.
- Reported on Education Select Committee discussing integration of private companies to save failing schools.
Channel One Television, 1998
- The only ‘VJ’ to shoot questions at Robbie Williams’ manager when he was suing Robbie in 1997. Successfully gained a ‘catch line’ and photo opportunities for the television crews and newspaper photographers.
- Researched, interviewed, took footage, edited and produced my own piece to camera for a story regarding HRH Duke of York, presenting colours to the Regiment.
- Made a showreel of ‘piece to cameras’ outside the High Court, London.

- Part of the ‘think team’ for the Johnson & Johnson Clean & Clear TV/magazine campaign. Helped put together a visual presentation for the client.
